Storm damage and water mitigation in Northwest Arkansas

Wind and hail damage assessment, water leak detection, and full remediation for Northwest Arkansas homes, from the first inspection to the finished repair.

Chapter 01

Wind, hail and the water you can't see yet

Storm damage comes in three forms, and only one of them announces itself. Wind takes the obvious things: missing shingles, siding peeled off a corner, a structural member knocked out of true. Hail is quieter. It bruises shingles and dents metal without leaking on day one, then the damaged mat gives way months later in the next hard rain.

Then there's water, which behaves like nothing else on the job. Once it's past the roof, it travels along framing, soaks into insulation and drywall, and shows up in a room far from where it got in. A small drip at a window header can mean a wet wall cavity from the top plate to the floor. Finding the real source is the whole job.

Assess, detect, document, then repair

We start with a damage assessment from state-certified inspectors, who look at the roof, the siding and the structure under them. When water is involved, we run leak detection to find where it is coming in before anyone closes a wall over it. That's the difference between fixing a stain and fixing the problem.

Next comes documentation: photos and written notes of wind and hail damage, taken thoroughly enough to support your insurance claim. We work directly with your insurance company, and we'll guide you through the entire claims process.

When the cause is clear, we move into moisture remediation and repair. It's the same crew from first look to finished work, and we offer fast emergency response when the house can't wait. Call (479) 544-2856 and we'll start there.

Chapter 03

Why a damp wall can't wait for next month

Moisture left sitting in a wall cavity doesn't stay a moisture problem. Wet framing softens, insulation stops insulating, and mold gets going in the dark where nobody is looking. By the time a smell or a stain shows up, the repair is bigger than it needed to be.

The clock matters for the claim, too. Photos and inspection notes made soon after the storm tell the clearest story of what the weather did and what was already there. A homeowner in Northwest Arkansas whose home and workshop were hit by a tornado wrote that Noah "ensured our needs were met" and was "really good at working with your insurance adjusters."

If you're not sure whether what you're seeing is storm damage, ask. We'd rather look at a ceiling stain that turns out to be nothing than miss one that wasn't.
